Rotifer production The most recent and exciting break through with the system has been the continuous production of rotifers by feeding them on a diet of concentrated live algae. As the system uses pasteurized water the rotifers are free from any form of zooplankton, virus or harmful bacteria thus providing a highly nutritious diet for fish larvae.
